Friends of the Upper Mississippi River Refuges is organized into four chapters. To find out more about planned activities and meetings, contact the chapter nearest you:

Palisades Chapter (Savanna District of the Refuge):
Chapter meetings are held at the Ingersoll Wetland Learning Center, which houses Refuge staff offices, a visitor's center and gift shop. The Center overlooks Spring Lake, which is in the backwaters of the Mississippi River. To get to the Ingersoll Wetland Learning Center from Clinton, Iowa, take 30 East to 84 North. From Savanna, Illinois, take 84 South approximately 3 miles to Riverview Road.

Coulee Chapter (La Crosse District of the Refuge):

Bob Pohl Chapter (Winona District of the Refuge):
Meetings of the Bob Pohl chapter are held several times a year at the Exchange Building, 51 East 4th St., Winona, Minnesota.
